Thanks to its excellent geographical location, Braga is easily accessible by car, train, taxi or bus.
The city is served by 5 highways: North (A3), South (Lisbon A3 and A1), East (A11 and A7) and West (A28).
Railway transport connects Braga to various parts of the country through CP Services (Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Oporto Urban Trains).
In terms of road transport, Braga Bus Station hosts several companies that ensure the connection between various regional, national and international destinations.
Francisco Sá Carneiro (Oporto) Airport is the main hub in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula to receive the most relevant airlines and low cost flights (30 minutes from Braga by motorway, about 50 km). The airport is easily accessible via the A3 motorway, via the Porto metro and CP trains, or via the shuttle bus provided by Get Bus.
Vigo Airport is around 100 km away, with bus trips connecting these two cities directly daily.
In terms of public transport, the whole county is served by the Braga Urban Transport (TUB).
